Drill Seeding Is a Traditional Process

With over 50 years of experience, Advanced Erosion Solutions LLC is confident that your drill seeding needs for large highway, commercial, or industrial projects will be met and more.

Our tractors and skid loaders are equipped with grass drills with varying widths of 7 to 12 feet. Our products include drills that can attach from your tractor to your skid loader when you've found yourself in a tight spot.

An alternative to drilling would be to broadcast your seed. This would result in a better spread of the seed over the ground. Afterward, our team will furrow over the newly seeded area to allow better airflow to reach the roots, which improves water saturation and overall seed growth.

Drill Seeding and Our Standard Process

As a whole, Advanced Erosion Solutions LLC has completed projects ranging from 1 acre to 300+ acres of land. Our standard process is effective and is as follows:

  1. Fertilize the area with our small hoppers or for larger areas, our large buggy.
  2. Prepare the seedbed by furrowing it into the soil to provide better nutrients.
  3. Drill the grass seed into the ground with our grass drills for better soil aeration.
  4. Mulch the newly seeded areas with straw or hay to cover 1.5 to 2 tons per acre.
  5. Crimp the mulch into the furrowed ground to secure the seed in place.
  6. Apply straw tack by using our spray to seal the plant fibers together.
